Holt Support More…
Holt Public Schools is here for you.
Welcome to Holt Support More, a team committed to bettering the mental health and wellness of our HPS learning community. Through mindful education and the provision of resources, we are working to reduce stigma surrounding mental health, strengthen understanding of mental conditions, and offer support to our students, staff, parents, and guardians.
Life as a student can be overwhelming. We are here to support you in whatever way you need. Feel free to explore our options for in-school support, or check out our resources for tips on how to manage your own mental health and help out your friends.
IN SCHOOL SUPPORT
This is a secure place to discuss stress, issues at home, or any other concerns you may have.
Emotional health therapy
This program will connect you to a therapist to help you work through any mental health challenges you’re dealing with.
Juggling school, family, and friends is a full time job, and not an easy one either! It’s only become tougher during the pandemic.
TRAILS provides students (grades 5-12) with 10 weeks of therapy focused on mindfulness and relaxation. If you are interested in this program and are currently a student at Hope, Washington, Woods, HJH, or HHS, please reach out to your dean or counselor.
Holt Public Schools is proud to use the CASEL framework to foster knowledge, skills, and attitudes across five areas of social nad emotional competence. This helps to establish equitable learning environments and coordinate practices across four key settings that support students’ social, emotional, and academic development.
