About Us
Holt Inclusivity Coalition (HI-C) is Holt Public Schools’ Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiative to support the district’s commitment to growing and sustaining a more equitable learning community.
HI-C is led by the Executive Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Matt Morales and Director of Mental Health Heather Findley. We aim to make HPS a more inclusive, growth-oriented learning environment, consistent with our district’s core values.

Our Team
Teryn Henderson (she/her/hers)
Teryn Henderson is working as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Coach as well as a Teacher to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) for Holt Public Schools. Before these roles, she spent the last four years as a high school Spanish teacher. Teryn is also a Holt alumnus herself! She believes in embracing and implementing school systems and structures that seem impossible to ensure all students feel a sense of belonging in the school community. She enjoys playing with her pet bunny, Sully, playing video games, coaching cheerleading, and spending time with friends and family in her free time.
